Im looking for rims for my 95 MarkVIII and I keep seing pictures of Marks with mustang cobra rims. Isn't the lug pattern on a mustang 5x114??? and a Mark is 5x108mm ? Whats the deal somebody give some info. to an idiot. I cant find that many rims with the 5x108 patter (5x4.25 i beleive)

the MarkVIII's have a weird bolt patter and offset, something that is geared mroe towards a FWD car. People do make rims (especially cobra rims) for the MarkVIII, you just have to look. Or, you can make it easier and swap out the hubs on the car to a Mustang. Not too expensive and you'll have more of a variety of wheels to choose from.

I swapped over to the Mustang hubs. Makes things a whole lot easier, not to mention being able to run a Stoptech brake kit for a Mustang. :)

The only guy who really sells wheels for the mark is brad he has cobras and bullets I have the bullets and love them http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=95491 plus they are on sale for 165 each! i paid 199 for mine the bullets come with bullet center caps that look way better than the ones in the pic

also if you get tires get 275 on the rear and 245 up front it will make the car look tougher

perhaps one of the few you know but I can list plenty that sell rims for the mark. Its not that hard to find but there is less to choose from.

I put on cobra fronts and cobra rear brakes (needed a bracket for the rear) with no problem and I have stock hubs.

I never said that a brake upgrade was impossible, however, the brake kit I am using is the Stoptech kit. Aside from re-drilling the aluminum hats to the Mark VIII's bolt pattern (which I would never do), a hub swap is the only way to go.

But yes, Cobra swaps in the Mark VIII's bolt pattern are indeed available, and I was running brakes from diskbrakesrus before I upgraded to the Stoptech kit. In the rear, I also have the brake caliper bracket and rear Cobra rotors, so I am experienced with that as well. ;)
