im buying the front struts and rear springs the prices for oem at the moment (even with the discount) is a bit dismal. Considering im also buying tires uca's etc etc.. i am pretty much rebuilding the car trying to get everything near bargain price but cant afford a top notch reuild with that said i need good parts for not so oem prices thanks for your help guys

Bargain prices means you will be changing them again soon.
Either do it right the first time or dont bother.

I rebuilt my whole front end using Moog bushings, so far so good. But the Arnott struts are pure garbage. Both started making some very bad noises within 5-6 month. And thats their new design strut. Yes they hold air, but thats about it. I will replace them with Ford Struts as soon as I can.

id love to but w/ a pregnant wife n soon to be shelling out duckets making a move across 4 state lines and ensuring 2 other vehicle are up to snuff ill have no issues making sure its done right when i can do it for now id really like it to be done withing my registering states guidelines if you catch my drift

ive decided she'll be on the shelf until i come back and ill go oe and install myself
as id have to get labor with cheap parts because my wife sure as hell aint puttin no strusts on well atleast not while im there

i would just get the coil conv from anywhere..Most use the same stuff..As for uca's get oem tbirds. You can buy the front coil kit or just the rear coil kit..The rear kit will come with everything you need including the rear upper mount perch.

Got a conversion kit for sale, think its arnott. PM me if your interested.

the arnots? so i can jus get arnot rears then? theyre the same price and it says that theyre aftermarket

He's prob selling a complete kit. Thats all u'd need if he has all the parts.

Of course OEM's are best. But if you're like me, and you sound like you are, your budget won't allow $770 ($369 each plus + $32 shipping) bucks for a pair of front air spring/shock units. So I have to buy mine one at a time and I get them from Arnott @ $186 each with free shipping. While that price is much higher than it should be, I can afford that a whole helluvalot easier than the outrageous price for OEM's. I've had a set of Arnott air spring/shocks on the front of my '96 for almost 2 years with no problems (knock on wood). And I just put one on the D/S of my wife's '97 LSC a little over a month ago. The P/S on the '97 is gonna get a new one first of the year when we can afford it. And the front suspension is getting rebuilt when we get our tax return. If you have money to burn, by all means, get OEM's. But if you're on a limited (or nonexistent) budget, get different car:D But...if you can't afford that, then get the parts that your individual budget will allow you to get.:)
