Okay.....

Which member here sniped me trying to snipe an oem lse bumper for a gen 1 today? LOL. My max bid of $485 was beat and it sold for $490. I had been quietly watching that thing for a week. LOL.

But, if anyone finds me a good one, I will pay a very fair finders fee.

I am hell bent on finding one. That was the first one I have seen new since I got the car in 06. I am bummed but have to stay positive. I did send the seller an email stating if the buyer falls through that I will buy at the price it was won. Even asked if they could find another one for me to purchase directly. All I can do is keep looking.

Any help would truly be appreciated fellow members.

Thanks man. I really do appreciate it. The seller just responded and said he would let me know if the deal falls through and would also try to find another one if at all possible.

I know that feeling only losing over 5 bucks as well...why the gen 1 lse? and not the second gen?

Ideally, I do not want the gap. But, at this point, I just want one and will have it worked out as best possible. Find me one man....LOL.

I swear Ive seen a thread on here before where a member installed the gen 2 lse bumper on a gen 1 without the gap and and still having the gen 1 headlights as well.

there ya go...

Definitely helps open up things a bit. Thank u for that. Now for finding the proverbial needle in the haystack. :)

agreed i really want to do this!! ive been on the hunt since ive joined lvc a few bumpers have passed my way but never have the correct funds at the time and as always repairs before mods.

you can kind of see the gap there, but that just goes to show that the gap really isnt that bad.

Marcredd, i really think you should go for the gen 2 lse. I think you would be happier, they're much more readily available and based on the one that you just lost, cheaper. Especially if you wait around for a used one.

I picked mine up used for $325 shipped. It even had my paint color! lol unfortunately it did have some scratches, and that wasn't gonna fly for a calendar shoot. The whole process from sending the money, to the bumper getting to me took all of 4 days. But now to get my motherfvcking fogs is taking 9 days and counting!

I agree about the gen 2 bumper cover. So now the hunt begins. I check in daily so keep me in mind.

lucky for me I love the gen1 look, just need to fix the mounting points as I'm currently using zip ties.

I have made up my mind to order an 06 Sport version front bumper cover(with trim for the bottom section). There are 31 available and I truly like the look of it as well.
