So I took the Mark to the track last night...

My brother and I took the Lincolns to the track. I took my 97lsc w/240k miles and he took his 05 LS. Mine is basically stock so I expected low 15's. He has a few things on his LS. Should be pretty close. Well we each got it three runs. In the end... the LS took the night with a 15.01 and the Mark with a 15.13. Both of us had slight tuning issues but not too far off of expected results. Round one to the LS...

The tuning issue of mine was a mild customer tune a friend gave me. Mainly to firm up the shifts. So now it shifts much better but it loses power through most of second gear. Not sure what he did there. I need to get my own tuner and do it right.

Put a set of 4.10's and a chip in that car and the LS won't touch it.

4.10 Trac-Loc, one piece DS, jmod, and a good tune all on the list. If I could just sell my Turbocoupe T-Bird I'd be set.

The LS had a bad tune issue. It should definitely run 14's. It would get stuck on the 3rd gear rev limiter and not shift into fourth. He's having a new tune sent to him.
