so far i've swapped out the air ride for conventional springs and shocks and changed the swaybar end links. I got mine back in august 2010 for $100 bucks and a flat top stove. the air ride was out and rather than chase my tail i found a conversion kit at advance auto. with my online coupon i got it for $470.00

anyone know why my head lights would be super dim i get a warning on the dash to check external lights? when i push against the console with my right knee. the a/c control comes on, otherwise its off and the a/c or heater doesn't work.
also my tach is not working, any ideas?

i'm plannin a bumper to bumper service once my taxes come in. then i'm working on air flow in and out. the car has been very dependable other than the oil trail i leave in the apartments parking lot. its titled as a lsc but the vin says its not.

Sounds like a loose wire on the headlights, i'm assuming this is a 95 due to your title description, I think all 95's are titled as LSC's. Drop your glovebox via the 2 tabs on either side & wiggle the connector on the bottom of the blower motor while it's on, if it cuts on, you need to open the harness & clamp down the connectors inside of the harness so they fit tighter onto the blower terminal. if it's a 2nd gen, the connector will be behind the blower motor, hard to reach but doable. fix your oil leak, they go from bad to worse in no time. I did one a couple of weeks ago, it sucked, but no more leaks;)

Pics!

You got anal raped for the springs.
The check externals lights---tells you what to do :-)
...and im betting your housings are weathered.
You have a short in the climate module somewhere, get another one. Address heater/ac not working accordingly to fixing the electrical short
Your tach is either the instrument cluster or VSS in the trans

The title may be just stating that it's a luxury sport coupe, ive had a couple of mustangs that were titled lsc on the title. Does yours have alot of chrome trim and true dual exhaust? Does it have lsc badges?

If the oil leak is on the left side of the car and you see a trail of were youve been then its the the oil filter adapter gasket. Just got done replacing mine. FYI it sucks.

i shopped arond and that was the cheapest conversion kit i could find for front and back. the adapter gasket is sounding like loads of fun lol my 95 is not a true lsc no badges or tru dual exhaust. i hope to correct that soon. I'll try to get some pics up in the next few days. thanks for all the help.

The tach problem is common and easy to fix. The dial face of the tach has been known to slide down and touch the shaft connected to the needle, holding the needle in one spot. Just remove the instrument cluster and move the dial face away from the shaft and re glue it so it doesn't slide down again.

What was the actual error code number that came up?

By the way, that looks like some fun camping.:)

a known issue

i can totally see that being the problem. i've found out more about my car in the past 3 days from this forum than the past 5 months i've had it. thanks guys!!

i went this am and got my adapter gasket. hope to get a break in the weather so i can tackle that beast.....

Pics. Aside from that, do the a/c blower motor wire wiggle test, mine does the same thing and that is the problem.

yeah mike i did the wiggle test. my display is off til i push with my knee. sometimes you can't read the display kinda looks like alien messages.

Hmm, I'd replace the control unit then, if all it did was cut out, it may have been a common wiring issue with a loose connector at the blower motor. With glitched displays and stuff I bet the control panel has an problem inside. They are easy and cheap to get and many models of cars have a useable part, so I'd head to a junkyard and grab one and likely be done with it.
