Go down to your local tire center and actually get fit for their new wheels?

I knew Les Schwab offered this and have a wheel mechanism to measure offset, tire/wheel size etc...

When it comes time to buy, I dont want to risk rubbing, having my wheels stick to far out or too far in for that matter.. Perfect shoe horned fitment :p

So far my +38 works perfect and it depends on how much you plan on weighing the car down with other stuff.

No poke, sits flush and no rubbing. 19x8.5 with a 235/35 tire.

i didnt.... but it sounds like a good idea.... I want to know the math involved with figuring out the perfect offset for each width and size wheel/tire

It would be nice, I will have to stop by and after they do it tell them that all 5 of their choices in 5x108 suck.. Hahha!

Maybe you pick the wheels then you can get a custom fitment before ordering..

I wish I would have done that before I bought mine!! I didn't know what an offset was until I found this forum. So now I'm stuck with rims and tires that are totally incompatible with dropping my LS.

are you from washington state?

So the bolt pattern for the LS is 5-108, right? I found a set of 18" Italian rims with Dunlop M3 winter tires and a set of summer tires for $400. He says they fit a Jag S-type but the bolt pattern is 5-120.

Yep yep 5x108, I dunno about 5x120.. sounds like a good price on those wheels there though. I know 5x100 don't fit :( which is some high offset wheels I have sitting around from my old car. Bums.

Yeah it looks like a good price. Everythings a year old, the rims look new, I hate to pass it up, but if it don't fit.....

I really just want the silver/brushed aluminum finish. Not chrome. I may go look at these rims just for the tires and sell the rims.

im thinking about gettin the asanti af-144 black on chrome, bout to go to rent n roll LOL, washington here too
