So about the no start issue...

Nope. They are going to do it. I'm done messing with it myself.

Crappy part is, it's kind of a guess. Not guaranteed to fix it. I fear it's the PCM, judging by what happened to Alax's LS.

Hopefully not but I'm glad mine got fixed by getting another pcm. I got a used one with the same ending code 150 shipped I think. I dont know what the price to program it to the car was, but the guy at the dealer hooked me up cause he felt bad my car went back there so soon after being fixed with coils, cool guy.

Yup. He even told me where to order it from to get it that cheap instead of paying 600-900 from the dealer.

So crank sensor didn't fix it. Now that I'm thinking about it, I never had a hard start/no start issue until after the accel coils... wonder if I should spend the cash on a new pcm or a set of coils first?

This f*cking sucks. :(

Don't you have the stocks laying around?

Yeah. I'm thinking just pay the 270 I'm in already, and take it home to swap out the accels for the stocks, even though one is bad (don't know which one).

Plus, I got a call from them again, pricing on pcm is 1200

Otherwise, they can order one from a yard for 185 (ftmfw if that's the problem), plus around 175 for install/programming.

It could be a power up issue.. Fuse, Fuseible Link, Grounds, and so on...does the ls have bcms?

Actually, that's the issue right now. Sometimes the coils don't get power, sometimes they do. It will even happen while cranking (they scope it while cranking). At least that's the way I understand it.

So, new ecm installed. Way better, but still sometimes takes longer than it should to start. I'm going to bring my stock coils in tomorrow morning for them to see if that makes a difference. They are going to bench test each of them first to see which ones are bad, and replace as necessary to see if that's the last bit of it.

Have they checked the harness to see if there is a break in the connection?

That's wise. Bad coils could have damaged your PCM.

I don't believe they are. Dropped off the stocks this morning. Hopefully I can pick up the damn car this afternoon.

Pretty much...

Too effing busy at work, actually. What, with all the time I spend on lvc, I hardly have time to accomplish actual work :D

Mine as well. But I burn diesel. My garage is not insulated. Plenty of ventilation, even with the doors closed :D
