So about the no start issue...

Got it started again. Now it's at the shop. $60 for diagnosis and 1/2 hour of labor. We'll see what they say.

Yeah, and I noticed a coolant leak now too. On the parking lot. center, near the front. I'm guessing that plastic coolant tree has a crack.

Well, I have a brake fluid leak on my truck. does that count as the third thing?

lol.. Fix it the yooper way.. Take the line off and put a nail in the fitting so that it blocks all the fluid off.. Leak fixed..

Mine broke the adjuster cable and I have no backs.. Damn trucks

You know what's funny, is I seriously thought about just crimping the line

UPDATE:

Got a call from the shop. Getting power to coils, injectors, etc.

They think it could be MAF related. When they have it hooked up and driving around, it still stays in open loop. It also reads a funky barometric pressure. Something like 161, and should be around 155-156. Tomorrow I bring in a spare MAF that I have, and my tuner, to see if it's something in the tune, or if it's a faulty MAF. Stay tuned...

I'm just hoping it's one of those 2 things. Those are simple fixes.

New starter was installed about a month ago. It cranks just fine. Just doesn't fire up. Well, it does when it wants to, so it's an intermittent problem.

No MAF problem, but once teh stock tune was loaded, it went into closed loop, and o2 sensors started working fine again.

Going to check the crank sensor next.

Nope. They are going to do it. I'm done messing with it myself.

Crappy part is, it's kind of a guess. Not guaranteed to fix it. I fear it's the PCM, judging by what happened to Alax's LS.

I can check.. I don't even think NAPA will have one..

EDIT:
They don't.. From what we have done with PCMs, they usually cost 350-450 for a Reconditioned one plus the program..

Well ive heard of people stealing them from mitsu suv's to swap em into 3000GT's to get rid of the factory limiter and such.

so i know they can be pulled and programmed into a different vehicle...at least with mitsu.

Most pick and pulls (at least the ones I have had doings with) have wanted 150-250 for a used one.. I would rather pay the recon price so I have some warranty imo..
