I was just wondering if anyone on LVC knows anyone who has experimented with using SLP mufflers (resonators in SLP's case) on a Mark VIII. Would SLP muffs fit if they were mid mounted due to their size? I think it would be interesting to see SLP's on a Mark and would probably sound similar to bullets. The reason I am so curious is because I have never heard or seen anyone with SLP on a Mark. My friend has a 99 cobra with a UPR o/r X pipe and SLP loudmouth II Catback and just sounds insane. He's been putting ideas into my head to try SLP on a Mark! I know it wouldn't sound the same as a stang but I think a 2.5 inch custom exhaust with a deleted 3rd cat and two SLP mufflers would sound pretty loud and would be interesting to hear.
And would they possibly fit if mid mounted?
