slimmer tires on 16 stock

these are my stock rims only 16inch

my tire size is 225/55

i would like to add a slimmer tire but wondering would it look decent on stock 16s?

pics would be awesome (with stock rims)

what would yall recommend?

also what would be the easiest (most economical) way to lower my car and reduce that big a$$ gap i have lol
