I have no heat. I live in ny so it has been cold the last few days, and after much fiddling, and getting the blend door working (which wasnt), I found out my problem is my dccv AGAIN! I love this car, I really do, but it is high in milage(156k), and I am not going to put another $850 to have another one installed, so I tore it apart today, and got to the dccv. 3 hours of pure knuckle skinning hell. Well it was mucked up, I flushed the system out but good, so it is nice and clear, but I really dont want to buy another one for $175, so if I were to use 3 Y adapters, to just let the fluid flow... will that work? it seems like it would, and I plan on selling this car after this winter. so I am not worried about the ac... Any Ideas or recomendations?

Yes, that should work. You will get more heat than you can handle, but you can just turn the blower on and off as needed.

The LS doesn't have an air temperature blend door (most cars do). The gen I LS does have a cold air bypass door, but it does not function for temperature control, only for maximum air conditioning. This seems to lead many to misdiagnosis.

have 93 3.8 LS. there's a heat control switch on the heater hose, acording to autozone, for less than $20.00 .,hope this helps

There are no 93 LS's.
There are no 3.8L LS's.
There is no "heat control switch on the heater hose."
Otherwise...
