my rear shocks are starting to leak any suggestions on what to put on, plus had rear tires put on and now my air pump seems to be going on alot when I start up, was wondering if maybe the shop did not turn the air switch off. by the way since I had the tranny done what a beautiful piece of machinery. this is heaven when you are in these cars

If you're looking for fairly cheap shocks you can get the Monroe sensatracs for a v8 tbird for about 25 bucks a piece.

You will want to modify your stock shock mounts when you put them in to keep everything clunk free.

Modify them how?

Cut or burn out the old rubber bushings and then use the rubber bushing that come with the new shocks. New shock mounts cost about $35 a piece but you don't need to buy new ones if you just use the bushings that come with the new shocks.

There are some solid one being sold on eBay but you don't need them either.

As for the first question I doubt it was something the shop did. Your rear bags probably had small leaks which now are leaking more. You can get some new air bags from Eddie at American Air Suspension or off eBay.

I would do it soon or you will wear out your compressor if as you say it's running a lot more lately.

Air Ride compressor will always run when you start up your car. Car will set to curb hight when you turn off the car. It will also run when you slow down after running at hwy speeds.

is there a special year of t-bird shocks and what would be thew best brand, ps man these cars are awesome

Mine doesn't run when I start the car. It doesn't it run when I get off the highway. Oh wait. I have coils. :p
