hey guys i have a 02 ls sport and everytime my engine light comes on the computer i have wont read it but it will read any other car 96 and up anyone know why that is and the cheap autozone scanner will????

Get a proper diagnostic from ford or a ford specific scan tool.

The tool pays for itself after 3 or 4 uses.

I'm totally lost. Some more details and better grammar would be a huge help.

So your tool will read "any other car 96 and up" but not your LS?
What brand and model is it?

And does the Autozone tool - which is typically a bottom model Actron - read the codes or not?

Your tool might not be very good. Or it might be Ford-specific codes that not all tools can read. Or you may have a very peculiar wiring problem.

well i wasnt trying to be perfect but the brand i have is Autotec and any other car it works on but the Autozone scanner works everytime
