Servo cap covers 5r55 tran

Hi!

Is there any trick to fully seat the servo cap covers?
it does not fully seat so i can't put the snap ring .

-The servo piston seats ok. OD & Interm

I try to put the cover on without the servo to see if was other problem but it does not seat completely.


Any tip ?

Servos? Like brake caliper pistons or something else?

It's not bent or warped but it can't go further.

It stop at the beginning of snap ring groove.

Hi!

Now the cap cover are fully seated.

I push the cap with little taps until the snap ring entered completely.
