3/5/14 - Ford Dealership replaced my water pump, hose, and serpentine belt. Also told I need to replace my A/C coil, clutch and pulley

3/11/14 - Went for an one hour and 45 min drive and parked. Got back into the car and no power steering and charge system light comes on. Turns out my serpentine belt has come off.

My question is what's possibility this problem is cause by the A/C pulley? I was told by the Dealership that A/C problem wouldn't affect anything other my Air condition. I'm hoping I can get the Dealership to reimburse me for my tow b/c this belt was replaced by them.

is the pulley for the ac froze up? did the belt break?

If the AC compressor clutch froze up, I think you might hear a belt squeal and the car may idle roughly. I am thinking that maybe the belt tensioner failed. You also could have a bad crankshaft pully.....but I doubt that would cause the belt to come off.

Between 3/5 and 3/11 I assume you drove more than 1.75 hours, correct?
