hey guys I was just going to put it up here first for sale, im not necessarily looking to sell it right this week but here in the next month or so and because idk how long its going to take to sell. dont get me wrong I like the car, and this has been a great site for helping me through any issues and problems that ive had or info I wanted to know, but im only 19 and in college, the car is pretty expensive for me to afford and keep owning beens i drive so much and am young still living at home. I have to pay my own gas, insurance, car payment, etc so its pretty tough on me. but its a ceramic white pearl 03 v8 and has 85,000 miles. no rebuilt title or nothing. premium chrome wheels, heated and cooled seats, sun roof. also has k and n air intake kit that only has about 3,000 miles on it and just got done cleaning it and re oiling, and changed all the fluids, like oil, tranny, filters etc. also has professionally painted interior pieces that are color coded to match exactly the the outside ceramic pearl white. this week im getting my plugs, coils, and gaskets if needed changed from ford for free under the warrenty. it doesnt exactly need it or anything just getting it done before I sell it. I baby it everywere I go which is 80 percent highway to college and im not kidding put it on cruise at 60 every day to and from school and work to get the best mileage. I wash it just about every week if not every 2 weeks. in good condition, just like I said looking for something that will suit be alittle bit better. im asking 9,000 obo. once again thanks everyone on here for the help and info, this is a great site, just letting everyone on here know first that I plan on selling it here coming the next month or so.

I'd put this in the cars for sale section WITH pictures if I were you...

BTW if someone comes here and tells you that you have common sense, ignore him...its a gay midget porn bot we have not been able to get rid of...

good luck with the sale, and post this and pictures in the for sale section

I know how it feels man, im only 17 with a part time job paying for all my stuff.

It pisses me off when I see the kids at school whos mom and dad pay for EVERYTHING, including a brand new car, they never put a dime into for payments, gas, OR insurance, and yet they've been arrested multiple times, been in juvie/youth center, smokes, drinks, and then you got the other kids like me bustin my ass to make my payments lol, never smoked a day in my life, or got drunk.

Good luck with the sale. You show a lot of common sense. Some day when you are making the big $$$, you can buy another, or something better. I am in the market for something similar and would love to take a look but you live a LONG way from me.

It is nice to see some of the teen members on the site who look like they have a good shot at adulthood. :D

Three vehicles. All beaters and all needing expensive work. Maybe you would not have to resort to all the crazy trading and asking way too much $$$ for the trucks you are selling if you applied some of the common sense that the original poster is demonstrating.

Just because you are not resorting to the debauchery so common to high school kids does not make you better than them. I think I could say with certainty that a good portion of the people on this site did things in HS that you view as bad. Get off the holier than thou soapbox for a change. You have your own issues to address.

i am 19 as well and i now its hard sometimes i pay insurance on two cars and gas and in college so i know exactly where your at right now.....good luck :)

you will thank your parents some day for not raising you the wrong way, handouts don't build character.

if you don't learn about responsibilty at your age, you NEVER will.

some day you will understand, maybe you already do!

thanks guys, yeah i mean its a great car and when your only 19 and in college, driving this thing is def a head turner dont get me wrong. but yea like i said its just not the right time for me to own something that if it does break would be very hard for me to afford to replace, and without another car id be screwed because i still have school and 2 jobs everyday so going without a car for any amount of time is pretty much out of the question. i can afford all my payments and save some money. I also live on a farm and have horses so with having winters in KY like lsat year that are real bad, and we all know if it snows hard im not even going to try and drive the ls and even though my parents both have vehicles, its theirs not mine to drive lol. so right now i have a little 4 cylinder 01 s10 that im fixing to drive when I sell the ls until i can save up money to get something else. but I was just getting your alls opinion on it. also do you think thats a fair price. I just paid 9 for it a few months ago, and the work ive done including new breaks and tires and the coils and plugs, i figured 9 obo is pretty generous beens ive def put atleast a grand in to it with everything, and most of it besides the interior pieces getting professionaly painted was all just good maintenance on the car.

thanks i appreciate it. but id rather drive an meet sumone and sell it to someone on here even if that meant dropping the price alittle under what I paid even with all the extras then trade it in to some lot for 7 grand an them turn around an sell it for 10. that stuff makes me so mad but hardly any reg people are just going to buy it from me s a private seller because hey want to pay 8 or 9 in cash or loan to ome private seller when in reality you can find alot better dealsfrm people like me than from some lot thats just a false sense of security becus where do you think all their cars come from. he exact same places an they just make profits

Im not complaining by any means, im glad my moms not like that lol, id like to see those kids 10 years from now, and compare them again

:)

Yea let me tell you, all my vehicles are beaters, none need any work besides my LS needing trans work, but I guess any LS needing a trans is a straight up beater ya know. I guess when an explorer has some rust, its a beater.

And yes, sorry to tell you, i am better than them. Im not the person who usually thinks like that, but compared to them, yea.

[/End Hijack] :p

Brian you should get off your high horse. I know you think your the most righteous kid on the block but that doesn't give you the right to judge people. (I'm sensing a little jealousy by the way). I'm sure you'll see some of those druggie spoiled bastards on down the road and laugh at them for being losers and then I'm sure you'll see some of them and you'll be surprised on how successful they are. I'm sure you'll keep living in your little box and be a virgin until your 30 but maybe you should go smoke a little and have a drink and gain a new perspective.

yeah, I was a drunk druggie in school and look at me now! bada$$ LS 3 kids, 3 babymamas and I just got promoted to manager at mickey d's!

keep your head up and you can be just like me when you grow up! ;)

I'm with Brian, If you feel better than them..f it, be better than them...whatever it takes to succeed is all that matters...don't worry about anyone elses opinion....except mommy's...it matters

in defense of the stoners and drinkers....they're chances of having a midlife crises are slim because they have already partied and acted crazy so when "and if" they do settle down, which most do, they will be productive for the rest of their lives. where as you when your in your late thirties or early forties may and im not saying you will but may have the urges to experience all those things you missed out on when you were younger. of course then you will have to manage keeping your job and house and taking care of your family.
