2798 isnt but 1242 is.
did you check the #1 10amp fuse under the hood ? if its blown then you need to replace your DCCV valve and replace fuse with a new 10amp.

just blows warm air, both sides. even when its off warm air comes through but i assume thats just engine heat?

I'm sorry ChiTownBoi, but that is really wrong.

2798 is Driver Coolant Control Valve Circuit Short to Ground
This is very much DCCV related and is why his AC isn't working.

1242 is Air Inlet Door Actuator Circuit Failure
This has nothing to do with his problem. Usually, it isn't even a real failure, just a false code because the door was a little slow to move once.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information (mine is from the factory manuals and experience), but you need to find a better source before misleading people.

It could be the DCCV, the DATC, or the wiring.
It is almost certainly the DCCV. Once you replace that, you may find the DCCV/compressor clutch fuse blown as well.

Thanks, I will be oredering a new one this week and will be attempting do do this myself
