seats and carpet

anyone ever relacped your floor pan carpet or recovered your seats? im thinking about changing mine to black and want to know how much i will be getting my self into before i try this. i found a new floor pan carpet for $100 and another $30 for the floor matts. im still undecided where to buy the saetcovers, i found a few sites that sell them ranging from 400 to 800.

I got samples from them, all I can say is order the plush or whatever the upgraded carpeting is because they low grade stuff is pretty thin.

I'm interested inhow hard it is to remove the carpet, I want topull it out to clean it on my CE.

It's not hard to pull it out... did that when I parted out the 94... but I wasn't planning on putting it back in... LOL

I believe its called the "Ultra plush cut pile". I was also looking to replace my carpet and was trying to decide if i wanted to or even could replace it myself or have it hired out. does anyone think that the "mass backing" is really necessary that is offer by stockinteriors.com?
