Seat track?

I couldn't find an answer with the search...


Yesterday, the 97 Mark stopped moving its driver seat forward/back.

It still makes noise, but no movement.. I am not familiar with this at all.

I'm sure this has been covered before.. Is it fixable? I'm hoping it is so I can jump on it over the weekend.

good luck! 97 and 98 driver tracks are known to be a problem once they stop they dont like to move again like they are supposed to. the 93-96 tracks seems to respond to working on them better then 97-98 tracks. and the 97-98 tracks are just around $900 bucks new for the assembly with no seat module. i have tracks, for all years, both sides, incase you dont have any luck with it.

97 and 98 driver tracks used go from anywhere between 150 and 400 depending on how bad someone needs it, i have sold them for as little as 150 on ebay to as much as 450. depends on who needs it when and who is looking on ebay!
