seat memory not working (entry)

I can set the memory for the seat and it will remember it most of the time, sometimes it will not.

It will never remember the last setting when you enter the vehicle.

It will alway move back to the "exit" mode when it shuts off, it just will not remember where to set it self when you get back into the car.


(Talk about being spoiled, I never would have cared about this crap if it didnt work in the forst place, lol. But it sucks having it and it not working now)

If you press the button ("1" or "2") several times, does it sometimes move?
A common problem seems to be for the position sensors to get dirty or otherwise mess up somehow.

if you put it in drive before its done moing it will stop where ever it is, i also have it like what you say. I just move it manually and don't worry about, i also come from a 1981 pontiac.... i was happy i had power steering....
