my 96 has a hole in the hose to the bladder, ive tried patching it but it just cant hold the pressure. I have an extra seat I can use for parts to repair the good one. My questions is, has anyone swapped over the assembly before? Im just afraid I might be getting in over my head. I thought Id ask before I tear 2 seats up. Thanks!

Whenever there's worry about tearing up something good that you have, I always recommend going to a junkyard and taking one apart there...as long as it's a u-pull-it kind of place.

When I swapped over the Gen 2 seats to the Gen 1 frames, I did it successfully. When you take the back from the bottom, The air line feeds thru the back and is connected to the bottom by one of those hose connectors. Just take your time and find all the connectors, and you should be OK.

I just want to swap the bladder, I had it apart when I tried to do the gen 2 seat conversion, but the gen 2 seat foam was shot so i put the gen 1 stuff back in, and in the process either punctured the bladder or one of the lines. So i really just need to swap over the pump, line, and bladder onto my good seat.
