Seafoam

Is it necessary to change the oil when putting seafoam in the vaccum line at the brake booster? Any advice as far as seafoam goes?

No, it does not go in oil from there, and does not require oil change, it is sucked into intake and finally conbustion. Seafoam can either be used in the fuel tank at fill up, and if you do it thru the fuel tank, it will help with cleaning the injectors, or thru vac lines into intake. I use Sea Foam at every oil change intervals, on the Mark, I just add to fuel tank. I swear by Sea Foam, I feel is the best cleaner on the market.

If you do the vac line route either thru brake booster or intake, just use about a half can at first, car may shut off on you while doing this, but just restart. It will smoke white exhaust like crazy right after you add SeaFoam, so be sure you are in a ventilated area.

It cleans out the intake and combustion chambers

once you allow for the intake hose to suck in the seafoam and the car dies, let it stand for approximately 10 minutes and than re- start the engine. repeat this process for three or four times. each time you'll see your exhaust fumes become clearer and cleaner. i would recomment doin this everyother oil change. just think you saved hundreds of dollars for a tune up?spark plugs is as easy to change.good luck!!

Seafoam is great! I use it on all my vehicles. In the tank and the intake manifold. The cars run much better after a good intake cleaning. You should notice a difference almost immediately after a treatment. It really is good stuff.
