I have contacted ILLS about a tune. From what I can tell people are pleased with his work. My tune I have on the car now I don't get the firm shifting that people are talking about. There is no way my car would chirp the tires going into 3rd. It just kind of goes into 3rd seemlessly.

It will ask if you want to make changes to the program, when you load your customer tune it gives you the opportunity to increase the line pressure on 2-3 ,3-4 and 4-5 shifts. I have decreased the line pressure a bit on mine.

Now that being said your original custom tuner need to have allowed for the changes for the end user.

I don't have ILLS tune in yet. I was just checking on his basic performance tune. I am new to this . I just don't want to screw something up. The guy I got my tunes from sent a performance 93 octane and a mileage 93 octane. I put the mileage tune in yesterday and it seem to be more responsive but the shifting seems the same. The performance tune seems to bog down when you jar it taking off. Almost like it floods a little

i would say who ever did your tunes now sucks. Not sure how else to say it. When you talk to ILLS, im sure he can explain better that an economy tune and power tune is the same thing. Its all about efficiency. As for the shifting and tranny tune. there is more to the tune than just shift pressure. Stock is almost like driving a stick, slowly pushing the clutch then slowly shifting and then slowly letting off the clutch. Once its tuned, it will become one motion. Then as you adjust the shift pressure you can make it shift harder and faster or softer and slower.
