Scraping noise when accelerating

I have a 2006 lincoln LS, and when I accelerate, I hear sometimes a scraping/rattling noise coming from the rear of the car. Any ideas on what that could be? It's only when accelerating.

did you run down any small children at the crosswalk recently. I know sometimes their lunchboxes can get jammed on the undercarriage and rattle....at least that was the problem I had.
