Many of you know of my LS @kleenv6!! She was rear ended last Wednesday and though the damage was minor because of where it took the hit will cost way more than a family man of six can pocket. Even with insurance money. So I’m moving on to a new LS but wanted to say good bye properly to my girl! Inspired by Hylife, Mlara, FDR, Manoli and others.

Thanks for the shoutout! I look forward to seeing whether or not you pick up with a kleenv8

So sorry to read this, but wondering why, since you were rear ended and it's the other person's fault, their insurance isn't paying 100% to make you whole.

they totaled it. 9k in damage on a 2-3k car. They're making him whole by providing money to get a similar LS, not fix this one

Sorry about your loss, its good to hear you are alright. You'll find another beautiful LS soon.

Ouch! I missed that the damage was that costly. Thinking of Joe's recent incident where his was covered by the other party's insurance.

Mine didn't have any quarter panel damage. I suspect that's what threw his over the threshold.

Yup, that's almost identical to the damage on mine, just the other corner.
You CAN cut off the back half of the quarter and do a really shitty repair for ~$1k.

Keep the wheels! (i.e. if you have the originals to put back on). Sorry you got hit.

Sorry for your loss. Seems like the nicer ones get it. I was going to offer you my 05 black and tan v8 for sale to make you feel better. I have my driver door apart trying to fix the window right now, and I'd pay you to take it away.

I hate to see such a beautiful car like that. I just got a 2001 LS V8 and I want to upgrade it but I’m doing horrible when it comes to cash. Is there any parts that you are willing to donate? Close mouth don’t get fed right???

Those are nice rims, what year is the car? I assume the front grille and bumper are custom?

Those rims are GORGEOUS. Would a Lincoln center cap fit in there.
The caps from the gen 1 17" sport wheels (and some newer non-LS wheels) kind of fits, but the backside is shaped a little differently so the caps stick out weirdly. Some Jag wheels put the cap too far in so the axle nut hits the caps. My Zeus set doesn't, but the caps simply don't recess correctly, even after trimming off the little nubs

The teal one is a gen 2 LSE bumper. The black one is a gen 1 LSE. Both have color-matched upper grille surrounds. Lower grille is standard for the bumpers
