Saturday Project

Awesome! Sounds like fun! And it sounds like the same cam I ran. You'll definitely like it. Great driveability and starts screaming at 3k on up!

That is what I am after...3-6K rpm.
This engine should be bullitproof, keeping the rpm's reasonable.
Once it has proven itself after maybe a year, I will add a N2O wet shot thru a carb plate...then we will see if we can keep it in one piece...;}

Not to be an a$$, but he would cringe at the name "Targa".
Its an '84(or 83?) 930 turbo. 325 hp, but it only weighs 2600lbs.
Its loud, and vibrates, and is funner than hell to drive!

I knew that one wasnt a Targa. I just love the looks and a dealership that deals with used higher class cars has one bad ass one NOT for sale.

I'm sure you'll have no problems with it. 302s can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. My motor that I had built took a BEATING from me in that 4000 pound car. At the track every Friday night, driving around town, etc. and it gave me zero problems. It wasn't until I decided to go balls to the wall 800 miles from home at a drag strip knowing I had too small of an injector at 9psi of boost that I blew a head gasket. :eek: :D
