ok...ive searched up and down this site on info regarding lowering with 20" rims but i get too many mixed answers about rubbing. i have a 20" rim with 42mm offset and a 235/35-20 tire. i keep reading that with the correct offset they wont rub...but what is the correct offset? will 42 be ok? also, any reccomendations on springs...right now i think its going to be eibach. any feedback is greatly appreciated.

good luck w/ no rubbing. i have 245/35/r20 and i rub all the time, and im stock height, i think its the 245 that kills me.

good luck...

i never rub but i'm at stock height. mike was lowered and he told me he does rub on big bumps but he had the speedsters which are good for no rubbing. you can always cut the inside of the splash guard wherever it hits like artur did.

I've got the Speedsters on 245/35/20s - mine's not lowered and I have never had my tires rub. But I've only had 4 people in it at the most so maybe that makes a difference too?

I have sprint spings which lowered my car 1.75 inches. I have 20" Enkei Kapone rims I think its 42 offset. I have had my car full of GUYs so there was a lot of weight in the back tires were tucked it and I didnt rub at all. I did roll my fenders I just took a hammer and beat the inside, very easy. If I go over some roads that have big bumps my front tires do hit the inside of my wheel wells in the front. I think I might do something to fix this but its really not and big deal. Lowering my car made it look so much better. I have my stock tires on right now and I can honestly say my car rides better lowered with my 20's than stock tires. Looks at my cardomain page to get pics of my car lowered.

I have seen a bunch with 42 and they were fine when lowered. I have a 38 offset and the tires are dead even with the fenderwell. No way I can lower mine.
