Will jaguar s-type shocks with jaguar springs fit on a 2002 LS? i know there is already a 2 page thread about this but it ended with someone saying you have to replace the lower control arm with a jag one. I wanted to gain some reassurance because im thinking about putting jaguar s-type bilstein shocks with H&R springs in. Is this a direct fit or not?

here is the old thread- http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=76068&highlight=coilovers

Hopefully someone will chime in, but my suggestion is go drive a S type and see how you like the ride.

They are more mushy than the LS and if you are looking for better handling, just stick with OEM motorcrafts.

I asked a few questions to the member who did the jag suspention swap. He used HR lowering springs and Bilstein sport shocks for the '99-'02 S Type R, which bolt right in to the LS. The '03+ S Type had a different LCA which would need to be swapped along with the shocks & springs.

In my opinion oem motorcraft sport shocks are the best for this vehicle.
