If you didn't know I was having a problem with the Supercharged Gold 93 Mark VIII. It started a couple month ago. Intermittent and minor. But it would spit and sputter and the air fuel gauge would go lean. I got a lot of suggestions and we changed a lot of things and it just kept getting worse. when it first started it only did it will at idle or light throttle and intermittently. It still ran fine at wide open throttle. But the more we worked on it to try and get it ready for Carolina Thunder the Sunday after Thanksgiving the worse it got. To were it spit and sputtered even at WOT. and I just parked it at Carolina Thunder. Its been at Barrys garage since. Last week he told me he thought it was the fuel pump and order a 315 lph pump for it. Well I disagreed because we ran it with a fuel pressure gauge on it and it was always between 30 and 40 pounds. And I thought a 315 was overkill but he knows a lot more about cars than me so I just went along. He called me Sat. and said it was ready. WOW does it scream. Guess he knew what he was talking about. Air fuel gauge is always good.
Although It still seems to have a little trouble idling and stalls on occasions.
