Rumble on acceleration...

Lately theres been some extra "clunkiness" in the drive train on my LS. Which has been accompanied by a rumbling on heavy acceleration from a stop. Feels like a bad U-joint on a drive shaft does. But this car, to my knowledge, doesn't have U-joints, correct?
Could the rubber ring that connects the drive shaft to the diff cause the car to rumble if it wears out?
Or could this be a bad CV joint in the drive shaft?

If you look at the pictures that are part of the thread by Ills regarding the turbo install (I think) you'll find somewhere there a photo of a driveshaft that's been re-done. I believe you'll see several potential problem areas. Good luck !!
