What's up Guy's, has anybody here have ever used royal purple on the LS

i'm biased mainly because its a hometown company. i've used it on my mustang in the past and can't say enough good things about it. i would recommend it in any synthetic application. give it a shot. it just recently got huge and now almost every automotive chain sells it. i remember when i had to go to race shops(if they had it) or the only ford motorsport dealer in town always carried it mainly because ti was an hour drive and dint feel like picking it up directly

I've heard good things and bad things about Royal Purple but in tests between RP and Amsoil, Amsoil usualyl wins. I prefer amsoil but the cost is very high for that stuff.

Yea, you can go longer. NORMALLY pepole go for 6-10 thousand miles, depending on short/long trips, you beat on it, etc...

For my 1987 Town Car I put Mobil 1 15,000 and change it every 5,000 miles. Soon I'll have pictures of the oil pan taken off so you call can see :D

I have always used RP in my LS. I know you can go longer but I still change it around 5k. I highly recommend RP. I can get it for less than $5 a quart

Do you think it would be a great idea if a car has 75, 000 miles on it??
