Man go to carquest and get the duragloss clear coat polish and duragloss wax and your car should be shining. Pete told me about those products and they are awesome. Thanks Pete!!

If he does not know where to buy wax or a clay bar, do you really think he can detail his car without screwing it up?

just take it to someone who knows how to detail and pay him to do it. By the time you pay to fix your mistakes, it would be cheaper to have a shop do it.

Yes. Clay and wax are pretty idiot proof.

Here is a good place to start. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see all of the "How To's". By the way, nice ride.

Great link. That has tons of info for a beginner.

Sure thing, dude. Duragloss is a very underrated brand. Everything I've tried from them has been on par with other products that are MUCH higher priced.

Having the same car I like to use....

Mothers Clay Bar with detailer spray to glide it.

Mother Cleaner wax by hand, twice if shes likes it.

Mothers Polishing Wax with a orbital waxer, twice.

Wipe down with the detailer spray.

She will look like new.

I've got nothing but Black cars these days and have come to this method.

If you find something you like, stick with it.

I use products from Meguiar's, Chemical Guy's, Dodo Juice, Menzerna, Duragloss, Blackfire, etc.

Next trip to auto zone! I hate pektels car because it's the same color as mine but looks way better If i ever saw his car in person id slash his tires :shifty: (kiddin)

watch him post a pic now

Thanks for the warning lol. No I won't post another pic. It's tough not to though. I was gonna post up a couple from when I wetsanded it.

I would suggest something other than mother's. Not that it's BAD, but others are BETTER. I would suggest:

Meguiar's gold class shampoo (from walmart)
Clay Magic clay kit (from autozone)
Duragloss 501 marine polish (like a cleaner wax)
Duragloss 105 (or 111 for a little more shine)
Duragloss Aquawax

These are all pretty cheap, and are OTC stuff. all the duragloss products can be found at your local carquest. Though for the freshest stuff, order online from www.duragloss.com You can't beat their flat $5 shipping, and no sales tax.
