Rough/Jerk shift into Drive

My 2005 LS V6 jerks/lurches forward when I go into drive from park or reverse. I haven't noticed any other anomalies with the transmission or it's shifting. Is this is a solenoid or a PCM issue?

I tried searching and couldn't find much for my specific situation.

No, other than it occurs when I shift it into drive.

same thing happened to me for awhile, what I've started doing is wait a couple seconds, about 2, when shifting from R to D or vice versa. seems to help me

That is the classic solenoid oak failure symptom.

Yes, i drive an 02 v8 and it effects me.
