Rough idle on hot restart

Anybody have their LS run rough when you run it for awhile, shut it off for 10 minutes, then re-start...like running into a convenience store?
I need to find out whats up. it doesnt happen all of the time, and clears itself if I shut it off, then start it right back up.
I am going to try and clean the MAFS...with the proper cleaner...and see if that helps.

Any ideas out there?

Hey, I have a question.. Just bought a 2002 LSE V8. And it rides rough! Is that how these cars ride or is something wrong? It has that sporty Z28 ride to it

Garbone - thats one symptom of leaky fuel injectors

Geedy - More than likely your COPs and VCG gasket combination. Use search function

I have a coil or two going bad, and mine does this.

From a cold start the engine is fine.

But if I run then shut off, then restart like <60 min from turning it off, the car runs rough.


It has been doing this for about a week now. I am going to do the coils this weekend.

I'm with Eric on this. I would first suspect leaky fuel injector(s).

I gave it all new coils, and plugs less than a year ago.
