Hi all. I just ordered these off ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LINCOLN-LS-00-06-F-R-DRILLED-SLOTTED-BRAKE-ROTORS-PADS_W0QQitemZ160128312594QQihZ006QQcategoryZ33564QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I have done some searching and found that some others have bought these as well, QuickLS for one. I was looking for some pics with the wheels off and opinions. I have had some rattling from my front end for a while now going over bumps and have had the front swaybar replaced, links and the rear swaybar bushings. Currently I am running aftermarket pads that were on the car when I purchased it. I don’t hear the rattling when my brakes are applied and it was pointed out to me that it might be the pads floating inside the caliper. Maybe anti-rattle clips? Do the pads that come from rotorworks come with the clips?

I bought and put those on about 3 weeks ago. So far so good. I dont have pics yet but i painted the calipers as well. They look pretty good but loose their luster after a few weeks. Dont count on fast shipping. Took him over 2 weeks to get them to me.

I wanted to paint the calipers as well. What color did you go with? What color is your LS?

I got my rotors from CC Rotorworks - can't tell if it's the same company or not....

I only got the rotors - not the pads - after my OE pads were off, I've only had the porterfields on.

i went with black. I have a pearl white ls. they came out really good. Didnt take long to dry.About 15 mins till you can handle them after painting. Got the caliper paint at Auto Zone, 1 can did all 4.

I put the rotors/pads on yesterday and painted the calipers as well. I went with black on the calipers, LS is black. It no longer rattles going over bumps and looks sweet.

just a thought; if you're mechanically inclined, have the time and can locate a powdercoating shop near you.... Remove the calipers, dissassemble them and have them powdercoated; the finish will hold up MUCH MUCH better than the best rattle can could ever hope to.

I have the Rotorworks, not their pads tho, they are great. No complaints, they sihpped fast and look amazing too.

I know someone out there in LVC has bought these or experience the same issue with rattling from the front end.

EDIT: found a thread http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?p=299621 Thanks

I haven't experienced any rattle, and for those who don't know, we don't have rotor supports(i dont know what they are correctly named) so what you have to do is put the rotor on, and torque down the lug nuts BEFORE you put the wheel on to ensure the rotor is set in place, THEN put your wheel on. This can most likely cause the rattle(which I havent heard of) and uneven brake wear.

I have had these on my car for over a year now They look amazing and work great.:D
