Some time in the future, I will be planning on putting some new rims on my Mark. I was thinking about some 17s or maybe 18s.:D 19s and 20s just seem too big for her.:yuck: What would your opinions be about the size rims i should put? Also, what would be a good website for me to check out different styles of rims?

I'm not a fan of the wagon wheel look. So 20's are out for me, and 19's to me are too large also. 18's Max, 17's are great. Save money on tires and get 16's...

I'm also not a fan of the low profile look. But that's my taste.

Welcome to the site... JR...

I tend to think that 17" are really a good size for the Mark VIII. 18" are a bit too big, and the rubber is much more expensive. And as you get bigger, you do lose some ride quality.

18s max for my taste.

Check out the Super Buy Tires web site. You can select your car and it will only show the wheels that fit your car.

I got 17's would have went for 18's but buying drag radials on a regular basis is expensive enough on its own. with out getting taxed for a larger rim.

I think that some 20"s are ok, but for me 18"s are in my future. I have had 15"s, 16"s, and 17"s, Now its 18"s or bust I wont settle for anything less.

Talk to Brad (the guy rmac694203 linked too), he is great to deal with and knows his stuff extremely well with these cars. He can get many other combos than those listed on his site & posts :)
