I need a right rear 98 ABS sensor. I finally got the abs codes read with the correct tool.

Please let me know if you have one to sell.

ChargerXR - I already sent you a PM about the one you have.

For those that don't already know this is a 1998 only part.

Thanks,
Ken

!998 Wheel Speed Sensor

Try searching on www.car-part.com

You won't find a catagory for wheel sensors, but just look for a 'Yard that has a 1998 Mark in your area. The rear sensors are real easy to remove (unlike the fronts) as they are only held by one easy to reach bolt and the connector is easily unplugged in the trunk. Most yards will do a rear, but are reluctant to try to remove a front. I recently paid $40 each for a pair of rears.

I got a used right rear abs sensor from ChargerXR, replaced it and NO ABS/TC lights!!!

Here is a reminder of what led up to my current abs problems. First I started to get a jumpy speedo at any speed after I drove the car for 20-minutes or so. After a good couple of jumps in the speedo, the ABS/TC light would come on. A little further along, the abs started to go off every time I hit the brakes, like I was driving on ice. The car would do this at any speed and would do it until the abs/tc lights would come on and then the ABS stopped going off everytime I hit the brakes. Then finally the car would just fail the abs self test 100% of the time at ~16mph, but the jumpy speedo and the abs going on while braking went away.

After all of that, I finally got the code read with the correct tool. That tool stated I had a rear abs sensor failure.

I replaced that sensor with a junked one from ChargerXR and no ABS/TC light!

ps - i did try cleaning the sensor and checking the connection before I replaced it, that didn't work.
