i snapped the line on the returne power steering line. and i saw that it is connected before the bumper to a steel strap.... how do i take this apart so i can replace the hose

Are you talking about the strap that holds it to the rad support?

Once the screw is out, you'll see a t-slot fitting hopefully where it will slid out and release from the line. You need a flat screwdriver to do this. I don't know how to explain it very well, sorry...

I don't think it's really needed. You have a Gen II though but on my 94, I swapped out that hose, in the front yard without jacking it up in about 10 minutes. Shouldn't be much different for yours but idk.

The line I bought came with one attached. Bring it back maybe and try a different store?
