Hi guys,
Looked through all the pages in the search results with various keyword combinations and I have not been able to find a rear (or front even) brake caliper rebuild guide. Do any of you know if there's one around? The manual does not include instructions for rebuilding the parking brake part, so I'm wondering how much work that is.
I did find something on the Mark VIII forum, which might be applicable and was wondering if anyone knows how similar these parts are: Rear calipers:rebuild or replace?
And yes, I imagine the sane thing to do would be to buy a rebuilt one, but they get expensive up here in Canada. I'll have to kiss the core return goodbye because of the high shipping costs. Was thinking of messing around with rebuilding one from a junk yard first, in case I pull a "kid who took apart the VCR and put it back together".
