Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, I've searched through the threads a handful of times but could not locate any info on the O2 sensors.

I've been expereincing a lot of hesitation when accelaterating, so I took the 2000 LS (V8) into Autozone today for a reading. The code was a malfuntioning O2 sensor - #2. Are there 4 O2 sensors in the 2000 LS V8s?

Where is the #2 sensor located?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, has anyone changed this out and is there any real difficulty in doing so? Thanks!

changing sensors...

I am not a mechanic but I put the car up on small ramps and found the sensors pretty easily. My LS is a 2000 V-8 as well. Look for the oil filter, go straight back towards the rear. Really can't miss the cords that go to the sensors. I believe that they are green cords.

I would consider changing all four - my car has 102,000 miles on it and it seems to help. Gas mileage seems to be better too.
