Well as some of you might know from a previous post of mine, I have a 93 that is not in the best of shape. In particular the front end is very bad. Needs upper and lower ball joints. Well I know of a 97k mile 94 that was parted out. The guy had the paperwork from the previous owner who replaced a large amount of the front end parts before the tranny blew.
The replaced parts were the tie rod ends (inner), the upper and lower ball joints, and the wheel bearings. So I bought the whole assemblies, left and right. They even have new brakes on them. I got both of the assemblies for 100 dollars plus I got the 2 non-leaking front strut assemblies for an additional 20.
My question is this, should I just replace the entire front spindle assemblies or should I just replace individual parts? The replacement spindles are complete including everything.
I just want to do as quickly as possible. My main goal is that I want to replace the upper and lower control arms as quickly as possible and I am not sure if doing the entire spindle would be the best bet.
