i broke original off quiet some time ago, replacedbut didnt install right. was mainly just too keep my dad from bitching. it eventually broke aswell.

i can get one but feeding that plastic cable was a pain and i just said f it, there some kind of special way to do it or is itpossible to get a stationary one?

sorry searched and couldnt find any references to this

You tried turnning the power on so the antena is in the up position and then feed the cable down the hole. Then have someone else turn the power off the radio the motor should grap the cable. Or just get a whole new unit from ford.

I tried feeding the cable in and it never caught. I actually got a unit from a 93 towncar i had to just turn the upper mounting bracket around.

If it has small teeth on the plastic you need to have the teeth pointed in the correct direction (forward I believe). I can't remember.
