replace headlight housing on 02 ls with 06 housing

Anyone know if the housings on the '06 LS and '02 are similar/similar enough? I have a newer '02 model where they already switched to the black sealant and am looking for the clear turnsignal view. At least in my area the '06 maybe '05's have this with a small amber reflector inside the housing.

Anyone tried it already?
