repairing jack points

Hello
Once again I come here looking for answers. On my 2002 Ls there is rust on the jack points. This needs to be fixed. I have researched this as best as I can but I am still not sure. It looks like the lincoln ls side skirt is part of this assembly. If I replace the side skirt with one from ebay would this fix my problem? Thanks in advance.

no they are part of the body... you can either seal them and hope for the best... or start cutting, and hope for the best....

How bad is it?

well one side is worse than the other. I know a few welders but the cheaper option at this time may be just to kill the rust and just seal them. I haver a can of rust converter made by Eastwood.

One of mine is rusted through. Mine is also has rusted through on the frame under the passenger side door. My only option is welding in new metal if I want it fixed.
