How do I remove my pin stripe off my 02 LS....? I tried a hair dryer, water... come off soooo slow plus leaves left over glue.....

Most detail shops have a label remover that removes the glue without damaging the clearcoat. Spray it on, let it set a minute or two, then the stripe and glue residue and all wipe off easily with a rag.

Another user mentioned in another thread somewhere that 3M has a product available at all the autoparts stores that do the same thing.

I removed mine with a hair drier to warm it (if I'd waited for summer I probably wouldn't have needed it), peaked it off in strips, ad then used a soft cloth and lighter fluid to remove the remaining residue. A paint supply house will also have pinstripe and decal remover. If you're not sure where to get it, contact a local body shop, and ask them where they get their supplies. 3M is one good product, as mentioned. I've used it before, but this time I didn't need it.

WD40 will remove the glue that is left over and then just wash and wax. We used to use it to remove bumper stickers. But it works for all kinds of things, it will remove gum from hair aswell. Just spray it on a soft rag and rub it on the residue, keep turning the rag to a clean spot and adding more WD40.

I know it is... too bad I haven't had a chance to use it because I am too busy dealing with other peoples :q:q:q:q ups and bull :q:q:q:q...

3m adhesive remover is awesome. Even removes gorilla glue and didnt take any paint off my car.

Goo gone is what I would use. It is cheap and very gentle. I used it to get a bumper sticker off my car when I first bought it.
