I don't know if everyone knows or is even interested but you can use the later model Lincoln remote head key on some, maybe all LS's. I can't tell you which LS's it'll work on, but I know it works on the 2005.
It's the one that looks like this... I'm not sure if this is the correct key or not. There are a couple different ones and our suppliers have different part #'s

I had one already so I thought I'd try it on my LS and it works fine... The keyless entry is on board programmable and the transponder in the key is as long as you already have two keys programmed.
