rear window defroster

As a matter of fact, I just used one of those type kits on a 2008 Tahoe that came in from the auction. One of the tabs fell off the back glass, and I re-attached it with something like that. It worked pretty well, sold the truck, and it hasn't come back yet so it must be ok. Just follow the directions to the T and you should be good.

I tried a conducive paste similar to that and it did not work. Also tried some copper shavings in epoxy prior to the conducive paste but that didn't work either. The defogger worked fine before I knocked the tab off, so i must be doing something wrong? The guys at my local auto parts store said the conducive paste works real well so idk?

hmm. well i did some googling and that kit came up more than once on different forums. which is good enough for me to try it out.

Try it out and let me know how you installed it and if it works. Winter is coming up fast and last years winter driving was difficult without that thing working ha it drove me crazy!
