Hi!

Yesterday evening when locking my car noticed that right rear turn signal does not flash. Today tried hazard signals and right turn signal and it does not work either. Meesage display does not say anything about inoperable turn lights (also when looking through status messages). Did not have chance to look bulb yet, but as i remember then when i had one rear turn light bulb out, i had a message about turn light out and the remaining turn light on the same side flashed rapidly. Now there are no such things.

Could it be just turn light bulb or i should be prepared for something more serios? Where to start dig for the problem if it is not just bulb?

Oh yeah, car is Lincoln LS 2000 with 3.9 engine.

PS. As where i live there are no lincoln dealers (Latvia), i would appreciate any help with ideas what could be wrong.

you probably ran out of blinker juice LOL
How the heck did you get a Lincoln all the way out to Latvia, if all else fails you should try a Ford dealership

every time i had a turn signal that flashed rapidly there was a bulb that was burnt out. defiantly check out the bulb first

Yeah yeah i already read joke about blinker juice here :D

This lincoln I already have almost three years :) and there are no problems to get any american car to Latvia, even those that are not meant for EU market :) and thats good because i like american cars :) at least something that you cannot see in the streets every day as BMW's, Audi's and MB's

If seriously, are there any known problems with REM and how likely is it that it goes wrong, if no one has done any repairs to car electronics?

I would replace the bulb first (or swap it with the other side) before worrying too much about what else might be wrong!

Just prepairing myself for something serious :) one reason is, because usually when there are bulbs out, i get warning on message center :)

Today will check bulb and hope that it will be dead not something else :)

Solution found :) A little bit burned connector was causing problem with turn light.
