Rear Power Outlet Question

Recently I installed a Sirius Radio and Nav system in my LS. For power, I purchased a 2-port spliter which I power from the rear 12-volt outlet.
Plugged into the rear outlet, the spliter's LED indicator is always on, as is the plug that runs to the NAV system. Everytime I get out of the car I reach back and unplug the adapter.
I'm wondering if this is really necessary. If I leave the power spliter plugged in all the time will it drain the battery??

If you're just talking about the LED on the splitter, then I think that could stay powered for weeks without any battery problems. Most indicator LEDs take about 10 mA (1/100 of an amp).
