Mine is kind of loose in the back, as in not completely against the trunk. I know theirs just a bolt I have to tighten. The feltish cover has some button like push in's attaching it to the door itself, is there a specific technique of getting these off? or is it a put a flat head screwdriver under it and pull it out?

Also, my spoiler didn't come with it properly attached, they caulked the thing in with well, caulking, and the wire is hanging down, as you can see in my photo gallery. Is there a proper size I need for the screw? I want to take the light off and get the wire back inside and put it back together.

I'd like to get this done this weekend while I have the garage to myself.

Thanks.

All emblems are attached with double side sticky tape. Use a hair dryer for heat and dental floss to work underneath or you can pry them off with a screw driver.

The actual emblem itself is not coming off, but the shroud around the license plate at the top, where the emblem is fixated, is about 1/8" from the trunk lid...

I tried just prying on the damned things, and it didn't work, they just STICK IN THE HOLES! I also tried pulling with the "carpet" and it slipped through the carpet hole and was still fixated...

So basically, use enough force and they will come out. I hope they're tough little bastards, cuz I won't show mercy...

I used pliers to remove mine. You have to pull on the "plugs" pretty hard but they come out. Also, be prepared for your reaer surround to be broken if theres a gap. I thought mine was loose, but turned out to be broken. I just used some epoxy, and it's fine now.

Thanks for the heads up, it's been like this since I bought it in September, and its been covered in snow and whatnot, so I do expect it to be a little rusty in there.
